Business Loop I-95 - Emporia

The lone entry for an Interstate business route in Virginia was the loop for I-95 along U.S. 301 through Emporia. When I-95 ended north of the city in the 1970s, there was at least one Business Loop I-95 marker posted at the intersection of U.S. 58 and U.S. 301. U.S. 301 separated then with a bypass branch along what is now I-95 between Exits 8 and 12 (J. Nasiatka, personal communication).
