The 2.88 mile long business route (BL-12-P) in Socorro overtakes old U.S. 85 along California Street from a trumpet interchange (Exit 147) and access road leading north from I-25. U.S. 60 accompanies Business Loop I-25 (California Street) between Spring Street and the north end at Exit 150.
