Interstate 195 Maryland

Routing

Interstate 195 in Maryland is a short freeway linking Interstate 95 and the Baltimore-Washington Parkway with Baltimore-Washington International Airport. For years this freeway sat in two segments, one from the airport to Maryland 295 (Maryland 46), the other from Interstate 95 to the north (Maryland 166). When the two segments were united, Interstate 195 was christened.

Southbound Interstate 195 signage begins near the junction of Maryland 166/372 intersection. Along Interstate 195 northbound, End signage exists at the Interstate 95 interchange.

Signage for the last exit on Interstate 195 south before the roadway enters Baltimore-Washington International Airport. No End sign was in place, but the speed limit did drop to 35 miles per hour after this interchange. Interesting enough, after reviewing a 1993 video on Interstate 195 Eastbound at Baltimore-Washington International Airport, a Interstate 195 shield was posted further East of this interchange.
