Black Canyon City

Business Loop I-17 followed Old Black Canyon Highway (former SR 69) north 3.0 miles through Black Canyon City. The route branched west from Exit 242 near Rock Springs and returned to I-15 at a modified diamond interchange (Exit 244) by the abandoned Black Canyon Greyhound Park.The business route was subsequently transferred from state to local maintenance, which led to its decommissioning due to ADOT policy of not signing business loops on non-state maintained roadways.

Until 2011, Business Loop I-17 was signed at both ends from the freeway mainline in each direction.
