Interstate 99, currently an intrastate Interstate through the state of Pennsylvania, has no business loops of its own, although Business U.S. 220 routes Interstate 99 traffic into the town of Altoona.

Not a Business Loop |
Business U.S. 220 (Pleasant Valley/Valley View Boulevards); not Business Loop I-99. U.S. 220 is the original designation of Interstate 99 through central Pennsylvania. Now U.S. 220 is cosigned with Interstate 99 between the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-70/76) and State Route 350 at Bald Eagle. Plans call for extension of Interstate 99 north to Interstate 80 via State College and south to Interstate 68 at Cumberland. Business U.S. 220 is the old alignment of U.S. 220; it was so designated prior to construction of the U.S. 220 (now I-99) freeway. This route is still signed as Business U.S. 220 even though it connects directly with Interstate 99 (U.S. 220) at both ends. |
