Interstate Business Route 69

Interstate 69 has four active business loops. Expect this number to increase if the Interstate is extended southwest to Texas.

MICHIGAN
Coldwater Active This business route follows old U.S. 27 and U.S. 12 between Exits 10 and 13.
Charlotte Active This business route follows old U.S. 27 between Exits 58 and 61.
Lansing Active Business Loop I-69 begins at Interstate 69-96 Exit 93. From there, it travels due east via Saginaw Street, the Saginaw Street/Oakland Avenue couplet, and Grand River Avenue. It then turns northeast to rejoin Interstate 69 at Exit 94. The short section Business Loop I-69 shares with Grand Avenue is old U.S. 16. The western half of the business route along Saginaw Street is cosigned with M-43. Before Interstate 69 was completed through here in the 1980s and 1990s, the eastern half of this business route was known as Temporary I-69.
Port Huron Active The western half of Business Loop I-69 through Port Huron is a couplet of Griswold Street and Oak Street. The eastern half is cosigned with Business Loop I-94 via Huron Street. This is a relatively recent business loop, commissioned in the late 1980s with the completion of Interstate 69 over old M-21. Business Loop I-69/94 rejoin Interstates 69-94 at the foot of the Bluewater Bridge, marking the northeastern terminus for Interstates 69 and 94.
