Interstate 19, though a rather short two-digit Interstate, has two business loops. The business loop leading into Tucson is one of the longer business routes in the country.

This business route follows old U.S. 89, the Old Nogales-Tucson Highway. It was commissioned in the early 1990s at the same time U.S. 89 was retracted to Flagstaff. This business loop is among the longest business routes in the country, at over 20 miles in length. In addition, the business loop does not return to its parent upon reaching Tucson; instead it ends at its junction with Interstate 10 and old Business Loop I-10 at Exit 261. |
