Interstate 43 follows old U.S. 141 between Milwaukee and Green Bay. Some segments of the old route are in the state route system, but are not Interstate business loops.

Interstate 43 has no business routes. However, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, there is Business Wisconsin 42 (Business Drive, 14th, and Calumet) between Exits 120 and 128. If Wisconsin used Interstate business loops, this could have been Business Loop I-43. This routing of Business Wisconsin 42 was formerly U.S. 141 prior to the completion of I-43 and the decommissioning of U.S. 141. |

Through downtown Green Bay, there is U.S. 141 via Main Street and Velp Avenue. If Wisconsin used Interstate business loops, this could have been Business Loop I-43 between Exits 178 and 192. |
