Interstate Business Route 30
Interstate 30 has two decommissioned business loops.

This is old U.S. 67-70 through Benton, the Saline County Seat, between Interstate 30 Exits 116 and 120. The 1969 Gousha map of Arkansas labels this business loop, and it is still shown as an extant routing in 1996, although no longer labeled as such. |

Business Loop I-30 was U.S. 70 (University Ave.) and U.S. 67-70 (Asher Avenue/Roosevelt Road/Broadway). Jeremy Lance writes, "Good call on the decommissioned Business Loop I-30 in Little Rock/North Little Rock. This road is now [signed] U.S. 70B (Business), even though most maps have it as either U.S. 67-70 or U.S. 70. The official AHTD map even shows it as U.S. 67-70. It has been signed as U.S. 70B for at least ten years." As of 2001, the AAA map of Arkansas still shows the Interstate 30 business loop signed in the Little Rock inset. |
